Marc and Angel Hack Life – Practical Tips for Productive Living.
I think I’ll give this a go. I like the idea of a picture everyday to note the day and what is positive about it.
This winter holiday has been busy but wonderful. The first five days of my holiday I planned and anticipated Christmas Day and what I needed to get done before then. I worried about my class pets at school but knew they were well taken care of. I wrote lists, wrapped gifts, shopped, got my hair done and procrastinated. It really feels like the time has flown by, and of course, I got sick over the holidays. We spent Christmas Eve and the first half of Christmas day with my inlaws. My niece is three, sick and so excited about Christmas that she couldn’t contain her cold germs. Luckily she’s the cutest. Christmas day we went to the local ski hill where my parents rented a condo for 5 nights. My brother and his girlfriend joined us there and we really had a relaxing time. Unfortunately, M and I were really feeling under the weather that we didn’t get out skiing. We did manage to go skating at the outdoor rink and walk around the village which was very enjoyable. Here are a few pictures of the holiday so far; Oh! my Christmas gift was a Canon 60D and I’m stoked to take loads of pictures, the following are taken on the camera and I hope to learn more about it soon so I can start taking amazing pictures!

November 5th, 2011 | Posted by in A day in the life... | sweet sites | Taxidermy - (0 Comments)They’re like garage sales at your finger tips. Saturday is an especially good day to peruse through them. I found these gems today.
The brass pheasants are $20 and I’ll likely email them an offer, I’m not sure how much the wool is but a friend and I are going to a craft fair (my love for craft fairs is a whole other blog post!) in the area and will stop in afterwards to check it out. And the coat is way out of my price range but I want it so bad! I know fur coats are faut pas but I ok with being judge, I want to snuggle it.
Here are some of the beauties I’ve purchased from classified ads;
- Vintage Mme Veuilleux from a fox hunt in the early 1900s = $40
- large vintage wrought iron bird cage = $100
- Gordon the Antelope from Southern Sask. = $100
- wrought iron plant stand = $20
- 30 gallon fish tank + pump + rocks + plants + hood + light = $75
- oak table + 6 chairs = $40
