My Big Girl Bonnet has been getting a lot of attention lately. Just yesterday, two people asked me if I would mind if the sold some FO’s from my pattern in their etsy store. Personally, I don’t have a problem with people selling finished works from a pattern I wrote as long as it’s clear in the product description that it is a free pattern and a link to where it can be found. I also asked for a link to their etsy shops so I can see some of the other wonderful things they’ve put together.  Tis the season for yarn art!

Ravelry: Big Girl Bonnet pattern by Kay Rae.

Well, I finally did it. I drafted my own pattern! I was sitting browsing the multitude of free patterns on Ravelry.com and thought to myself, “I’ve benefited to much from other people’s generosity, it’s time to give back.”   Here’s my contribution as a THANK YOU to all those out there who selflessly post amazing patterns. I’ve enjoyed them immensely!
